The most popular aprés ski locations in the Alps: Ischgl, Sölden and St. Anton are the best – the Germans are the wildest

The best après ski is to be found in Ischgl, Sölden and St. Anton. This is the result of a poll issued by SnowTrex Ski Holidays. Almost 3,000 winter sports fans participated in the questionnaire. High score winner: Ischgl with approx. 42 percent. No. 2 is Sölden with 13 percent and No. 3 is St. Anton with 9.7 percent. According to the results of the poll, the Germans are the wildest party-makers, selected by 40.5 percent of the questioned individuals. They are followed by the Dutch with 17.7 percent. 54.9 percent state that they find après ski to be an essential part of the holiday, while 30 percent rather avoid partying after returning from the piste.

Party until you drop in Austria: With regards to après ski the Alpine country rocks the top 5 of the list. Behind the very dominant winner Ischgl, resorts such as Sölden, Mayrhofen and Saalbach-Hinterglemm fill the top 5 of the ranking. The most popular German resorts for après ski fans were rated Garmisch-Patenkirchen and Oberstdorf. In the total ranking they however only come on places six and seven. In total 2,997 customers participated in the ski specialist“s poll.

Where is the best après ski party location?

The top ski resorts for après ski, according to the SnowTrex questionnaire, are Ischgl (41.8 percent), Sölden (13 percent) and St. Anton (9.7 percent), followed by Mayrhofen with 6.4 percent, Saalbach-Hinterglemm with 4.4 percent and also Kitzbühel with 2.3 percent. The best German resorts for après ski are Garmisch-Patenkirchen and Oberstdorf with 1.3 and one percent.

The top party locations in the top 3 party resorts

In Ischgl the most popular place to party is very unmistakably the „Kuhstall“ with 34.4 percent, even before the „Trofana Alm“ (11 percent) and „Niki“s Stadl“ with 4 percent. The top locations for après ski in Sölden are the „Schirmbar“ (33.3 percent), the „Philipp“ (20.5 percent) and „Fire & Ice“ (15.4 percent). In St. Anton the „Mooserwirt“ is the unbeatable No. 1 with 62 percent, before the „Krazy Kanguruh“ (10.3 percent) and „Bobo“s“ (6.9 percent).
Upon asking the questioned individuals which nationality is the wildest après ski party-maker, 40.5 percent decided for the Germans. They are followed by the Dutch with 17.7 percent, before the Russians with 10.4 percent and the British with 6.7 percent. The Austrians are on number 5 of the list with 3.7 percent and they are followed by the Swiss with one percent. For 59.4 percent of all questioned participants, après ski is an important or even very important part of the holiday. 29.1 percent rather miss out on the partying after returning from the slopes.
