Perfect overview of allotments and booking rates with ibelsa.rooms

Ready, for the leading trade fair in Hamburg the INTERNORGA, is the free of charge connection to the channel manager DIRS21 which also includes an interface to Google hotel finder, Trivago and TripAdvisor and to many leading international hotel booking portals. The hotelier has his allotments and booking rates always at a glance.

The integration of third-party such as a Channel Manager or a POS system can prove to be costly. Often charges apply for interface programming, for configuration or for monthly licence fees, but times are changing. ibelsa refers to interfaces now as connections and these are free of charge, provided that there is a contract with the third-party.
The current update provides, with immediate effect, the connection to the renowned Channel Manager DIRS21. DIRS21 offers access to many leading international hotel booking portals, such as booking.com, expedia, HRS, netHotel, Unister to just name a few, and also offers connections to Google hotel finder, TripAdvisor and Trivago (for condition details contact DIRS21 directly).
This means a central data administration is possible for the hotelier for all booking channels without having to leave the booking system ibelsa.rooms and an increase of sales channels.
Due to the current topic of rate parity it becomes more and more important to always keep a close eye on the prices and thus to guarantee that the hotels own prices are the best.
The connection is established with a free plug-in which soon will offer a quick linkage to other channel managers.
The connection is activated with a code given by the channel manager. The necessary mapping of the data with the respective booking portal ensures a correct, two-way data transfer, like this the systems are able to “speak” with each other.
Bookings from the hotel portals are transferred directly into the ibelsa application.
This is possible with no further installations and updates and most importantly with no further costs involved.
With a channel manager connection you can easily manage your allotments and rates of the different booking portals through just one input mask in the ibelsa application.
Due to the two-way data transfer allotments and prices can be transferred, rooms blocked, reservation conditions update, overbookings prevented and prices and rates can be automatically adjusted. The hotelier saves a lot of time and he also has a better occupancy as all information is managed through the ibelsa..
The times when the best available rate offered by hotels was higher are over and thus the maintenance of data is reduced to a minimum.

“ibelsa consider themselves a partner of the hotel industry. We will continue to do everything to make the daily workload easier and to open up new effective sales channels.
The programming of an open plug-in for the connection to third party systems allows us to even quicker take into consideration the hotelier requirements. After entering a code and with just one click for example the connection to a channel manager is activated, at no extra cost for the hotelier, following our philosophy that any connection issues are resolved between the respective technology partners and not to the detriment of the hotelier.” is the opinion of Philip Berchthold, managing director of ibelsa. He believes that short term contracts as well as a transparent pricing model of 4 Euros per room per month, with no hidden costs, is a fair offer for any hotelier.
